This 8- session course will include a variety of exercises to awaken the senses, heart and mind:
·       Gentle stretching and breathing exercises
·       Sitting mindfulness
·       Body-focused mindfulness
·       Walking mindfulness
·       Heart focused practice
·       Discussions on food stress, life stress and people stress and how to approach these in a more skilful manner.

The program is highly challenging and strongly supported, with an emphasis on self-responsibility.  An array of mindfulness based approaches is introduced to accommodate individual learning styles and needs. It is a short term intervention intended to foster self- reliance and self- regulation as well as life-long learning.
